The Office of the Chief Scientist has allocated NIS 21.6 million for 23 new projects. The total budget of the projects is NIS 46.7 million.
The Chief Scientist awarded a NIS 300,000 grant toward an NIS 800,000 biotechnology project. NIS 5.9 million in grants were awarded for six chemistry projects with an aggregate budget of NIS 12.2 million.
NIS 2.8 million in grants were awarded for three medical devices projects with an aggregate budget of NIS 6.2 million. NIS 3.8 million in grants were awarded for three plastics projects with an aggregate budget of NIS 6.2 million.
NIS 4.2 million in grants were awarded for three communications projects with an aggregate budget of NIS 11.3 million. An NIS 800,000 grant was awarded for one software project with a budget of NIS 2.5 million.
NIS 3.8 million in grants were awarded for four other projects with an aggregate budget of NIS 7.5 million.
