Arison still battling Bank of Israel

Bank Hapoalim controlling shareholder Shari Arison still believes the Bank of Israel's behavior was improper, illegal, and inappropriate.

Bank Hapoalim (LSE: 80OA; TASE: POLI) controlling shareholder Shari Arison intends continuing waging war against Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer and Supervisor of Banks Rony Hizkiyahu. Arison is collecting documentation to submit to State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss to support her complaint about the conduct of Fischer and Hizkiyahu in forcing Hapoalim chairman Dan Dankner to resign.

Arison still believes that the Bank of Israel's behavior was improper, illegal, inappropriate and immoral. As a concerned citizen she feels it is her duty and responsibility to hand the case over to the State Comptroller, especially as she feels a huge injustice has been done.

Banking sources believe that Arison, despite reaching a compromise yesterday, "has had her fill" of Fischer and Hizkiyahu and intends pursuing her claim to its conclusion through the Comptroller.
