Sun: Dual-listed shares drag market down

Mellanox fell sharply and Teva was down on the day's biggest turnover, but Delek's exploration units Avner and Delek Drilling bucked the market.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.45% to 1,234.95 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.37% to 1,100.05 points, and the BlueTech 50 Index fell 1.14% to 312.67 points. Turnover was NIS 591.5 million.

The TASE fell today, after initial gains, in line with losses on European markets and on Wall Street on Friday.

In the foreign currency market, options pointed to a 0.01% gain in the shekel-dollar exchange rate, compared with Friday's representative rate, to NIS 3.681/$, and to a 0.05% gain in the shekel-euro exchange rate to NIS 4.807/€.

In the bond market, both long-term Shahar unlinked shekel government bonds and long term Galil CPI-linked government bonds rose by up to 0.2%. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.57%.

In the stock market, Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 2.2% and 2%, respectively, for the biggest gains among Tel Aviv 25 shares, after publishing their financials on Friday, and their parent company Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 1.4%.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) fell 0.3%, despite announcing a large contract in Asia.

Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:MLNX; TASE:MLNX) fell 4.6% on a large negative arbitrage gap, for the biggest loss among Tel Aviv 25 shares, while its high-tech peers NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) and EZchip Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: EZCH; TASE:EZCH) fell 0.7% and 1.1%, respectively.

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell another 1%, after Leumi Capital Markets cut its recommendation to "Market perform" with a target price of NIS 5.

Oil Refineries Ltd. (TASE:ORL) fell 2.8%, ahead of the publication of its financials tomorrow. Clal Finance predicts that the company will report heavy losses and cut its recommendation for the share to "Market perform".

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.2% on the day's biggest turnover of NIS 39 million. Perrigo Company (Nasdaq:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) fell 1%.

Small cap RH Technologies Ltd. (TASE: RHTCH) fell 6% in heavy trading, after publishing disappointing results for 2012.
