The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.59% to 1,202.15 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.71% to 1,083.19 points, and the BlueTech 50 Index rose 0.07% to 304.43 points. Turnover was NIS 431.7 million.
The TASE rose in thin trading today, in line with gains on Wall Street, and bucking losses on European markets on Friday.
In the foreign currency market, options point to a 0.07% drop in the shekel-dollar exchange rate, compared with Friday's representative rate, to NIS 3.642/$, and to a 0.51% drop in the shekel-euro exchange rate to NIS 4.673/€.
In the bond market, both long-term Shahar unlinked shekel government bonds and long term Galil CPI-linked government bonds fell by up to 0.9%. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.29%.
In the stock market, Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) rose 0.9%, on reports that controlling shareholder Idan Ofer planned to float its spinoff on the London Stock Exchange at a company value of £2 billion. Subsidiary Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE: ICL) fell 0.6% on the day's biggest turnover of NIS 24 million.
Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) fell 0.1% to NIS 940.10. Barclays Capital raised its target price for the share 12% to NIS 1,019, 8% above today's opening price, and kept its "Outperform" recommendation in a new review on the company.
Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) rose 2.2% for the biggest gain among Tel Aviv 25 shares, and Osem Investments Ltd. (TASE: OSEM) fell 1.1%, for the biggest loss on the index.
On the Tel Aviv 100 Index, Shikun & Binui Holdings Ltd. (TASE: SKBN) rose 2%, after selling its stake in Road 6 franchisee to one of its partners.
IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH) 5.9%, amid more upheaval and uncertainty at Nochi Dankner's company.
Small-cap InsuLine Medical Ltd. (TASE: INSL) rose 5.9%, after raising NIS 8 million in a private placement.
