"Globes" has learned that Michael Dell, founder and controlling shareholder of US computer company Dell, is expected to visit Israel in the next few months. A professional team from the company will arrive in advance of his visit, seeking technological cooperation.
Dell accepted an invitation by Ephraim Shoham, Ministry of Industry and Trade Cooperation Authority director-general, who recently visited the US. Dell is expected to meet with economic leaders and visit technological industries.
Following Shoham's visit to the US, it was agreed that the Detroit-based Ford company would start screening Israeli industries that are suitable for manufacturing parts for the company's cars.
