Dutch company to acquire 26% of Dorad

Brabant Park will also share in financing the power station being constructed by Dorad.

Dutch company Brabant Park, which is active in real estate and infrastructures, will buy 26% of the issue share capital of Dorad Energy, according to an announcement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Brabant Park will also share in financing the power station being constructed by Dorad in Ashkelon.

Dorad, which is currently owned by in equal shares by Uri Dori Engineering Works Corp. (TASE: DORI) and businessman Yosef Edelsburg, plans to build an 800 megawatt power station.

"Globes" reported on Monday that Dorad had signed an agreement with Turkish company Zorlu to build the power station in Ashkelon. The contract is worth some $1 billion.
