Nochi Dankner consulted with Rabbi Jacob Ifergan, known as "the Roentgen" (X-ray) for his psychic abilities.
Super Sol (NYSE:SSLTF.PK; TASE:SAE) and IDB Holding Corp. (TASE:IDBH) chairman Nochi Dankner accepted a recommendation by Rabbi Jacob Ifergan, to keep the chain's supermarkets closed on the Jewish Sabbath. Ifergan, known as "the Roentgen" (X-ray) for his alleged psychic abilities, warned Dankner that such a move would harm his financial success.
Ifergan's recommendation about opening supermarkets on Saturdays was in line with that of most experts with whom Dankner consulted. All of Super Sol's executives and board members agreed with the decision.
Dankner has consulted with Ifergan on many of his business decisions, including his purchase of IDB. Dankner participates in many of Ifergan's events, and contributes to his activities. A Dankner spokesperson confirmed the report that Nochi Dankner had consulted with the rabbi, as well as with a series of other advisors.
