Itamar Medical Ltd. (TASE:ITMR)-developed WatchPAT product will now be available for use by patients at most of Israel's health funds.
The WatchPAT monitors breathing problems during sleep. It will now be available for patients treated at Assuta Medical Centers, which serves member of the Maccabi, Meuhedet, and Leumit health funds.
Patients wear WatchPAT on the wrist. It uses a non-invasive finger mounted pneu-optical probe to measure signals which are stored in the built-in memory over night and transferred to a computer running the analysis software via USB connection for automatic analysis. The WatchPAT records oxygen saturation, actigraphy. and pulse.
