Back to jail for Reifman

"He continues to throw sand in the eyes of the special administrator, the official receiver, and the court."

Emblaze Ltd. (LSE: BLZ) founder Eli Reifman was sent back to jail for 14 days today.

He "continues to throw sand in the eyes of the special administrator, the official receiver, and the court, and as such there is no escaping sending the guilty party back to jail, with the objective of forcing him to change his ways and handing over the shares," said Aviv District Court Judge Varda Alshech.

Alshech's ruling came after she said that for over half a year Reifman has not in effect kept, even partially, the court's order to him, which was to transfer his shares in Emblaze to special administrator Adv. Eitan Erez.

Alshech said that Reifman is waging a "war of attrition" against the court, and that is behavior is "an outright attempt to stall for time, until perhaps the system will tire of his case, and let him act as he has wanted to from the outset, at his whim."

Reifman has already spent time in prison, was freed, was sent back to jail on forgery charges, and was then released to house arrest.
