MobileMax signs pilot deal with major European telecom co

The customer plans to uses MobileMax's fixed mobile convergence solutions for business customers.

Fixed mobile convergence technology developer MobileMax Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MBMX) US subsidiary MobileMax Inc. has signed a deal for a pilot project for the company's software with one of European's large telecommunications providers, whose name was not disclosed. The European company has ordered products worth NIS 360,000 for the pilot.

MobileMax believes that after the pilot project is completed, the customer will sign contracts to buy and support the software products. The company cautioned that this is not certain, nor can it predict the size of the contracts, if any.

The customer provides telecommunications solutions and services in several European countries. The customer plans to uses MobileMax's fixed mobile convergence solutions for business customers. Fixed mobile convergence solutions make it possible to use mobile telephones to make calls via enterprise switchboards for video conferencing, transferring calls to an extension, etc.

MobileMax's share rose 6.1% in morning trading to NIS 0.79, giving a market cap of NIS 33 million.
