The vacated site will be available for the construction of 12,000 apartments. The current asking price for a four-room apartment in the area is NIS 2.5-3 million.

Atias and Katz decided to set up an inter-ministerial team to plan the dismantle Sde Dov and find an alternative location for the airport. Ministry of Transport director general Yaakov Ganot will chair the committee. Committee members will include Israel Airports Authority director general Kobi Mor, Israel Civil Aviation Authority director general Giora Rom, Israel Land Administration director general Yaron Bibi, and representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
