Arison's Shikun u'Binui wins major Kenya road project

The company will rebuild the road between Mau and Nyamasaria in western Kenya.

Shari Arison-controlled Shikun u'Binui Holdings Ltd. (TASE: SKBN) subsidiary Solel Boneh International Ltd. has signed a $210 million contract with the Kenyan government to rebuild a 135-kilometer road in western Kenya. Work on the road between Mau through Samit and Kericho and Nyamasaria, a major traffic artery, will take two and a half years.

The Kenyan government and the World Bank are financing the project.

Solel Boneh International is the global arm of Shikun u'Binui's contracting subsidiary Shikun u'Binui Solel Boneh Building and Infrastructure Ltd.
