ReDent's self-adjusting file is a new concept of root canal treatment.
Maayan Ventures Ltd. (TASE:MAYN) portfolio company ReDent Nova Ltd. has obtained EU CE Mark certification for its Vatea irrigation device for the self-adjusting file (SAF) for root canal treatments. The company added that studies it conducted found that the Vatea device can also be used for other root canal files, such as ultrasonic files.
ReDent's SAF is a new concept of root canal treatment, which makes possible several procedures, including simultaneous positioning, cleaning, and expansion of the root canal with a single file. The SAF obtained US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval last month.
Maayan Ventures owns 20% of ReDent.
