The NiceVision Net IP video surveillance solution will help airport security anticipate, manage and mitigate security, safety and operational risks.
NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) has completed the installation of its NiceVision Net IP video surveillance solution at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The company did not disclose the value of deal.
The airport already uses a number of NICE solutions to protect the safety and security of the 18 million passengers who pass through it each year. The US Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) financed the project under the Advanced Surveillance Program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The NICE IP-based video surveillance solution improves the video resolution and performance and paves the way for future expansions and migration to IP video by the Ronald Reagan Airport. The system enables airport security personnel to anticipate, manage and mitigate security, safety and operational risks by capturing and analyzing video, and ensuring that the right people get the right information at the right time, to take action.
