Ness wins Direct Insurance deal

IDI CEO Zoller: The new ERP system is a quantum leap in our enterprise IT systems and will help us to further streamline and improve IDI's processes.

IT integrator Ness Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: NSTC; TASE: NSTC) said today that it has won contract worth around NIS 4 million (around $1 million) from IDI Israel Direct Insurance Ltd. (TASE: IDI) to implement a company-wide, SAP-based, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

The ERP system will include accounting, procurement, fixed asset management, budget and control, treasury, cash flow management, pricing and others.

IDI CEO Raviv Zoller said, "The new ERP system is a quantum leap in our enterprise IT systems and will help us to further streamline and improve IDI's processes.

IDI is a subsidiary of Direct Insurance Financial Investments Ltd (76.9%), whose shares are owned by Zur Shamir Holdings (66%).
