Cloud solutions co NowForce raises $4m

Cloud command and control solutions developer NowForce Ltd. has raised $4 million from Indigo Strategic Partners and Winnovation. The company's on-demand emergency response mobile applications have thousands of active users.

NowForce CEO Assaf Shafran, COO Anshel Pfeffer, and director Jonathan Bendheim founded the company in 2008. Its partners include Orange franchise Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR), Mirs Communications Ltd., Matrix IT Ltd. (TASE:MTRX), Israel's Fire and Rescue Services, Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT), Sprint Inc. (NYSE: S), Motorola Solutions Inc. (NYSE: MSI), and Blackberry maker Research In Motion Inc. (Nasdaq: RIMM).

NowForce will use the proceeds to expand sales and marketing in North America, Europe, and Africa. Indigo Strategic Partners managing partner Dorian Barak and Winnovation CEO Barak Ben-Eliezer will join NowForce’s board of directors.

Shafran said, “This funding is a great vote of confidence in the company’s vision and path to becoming the premier provider of on-demand command and control solutions, and will give us the ability to immediately implement our ambitious growth plans.
