Former Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) CEO Amos Shapira has been appointed an external director of Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) (TASE: ARSP.B1). The job is in addition to his appointment as president of the University of Haifa.
Shapira earned NIS 50 million in salary and options as CEO of Cellcom in 2005-11. In addition, he will receive his salary through the end of 2013 in exchange for his non-competition commitment (both direct and indirect). His gross monthly salary was NIS 141,000 at the end of 2011.
