Although Golan Telecom only received the license yesterday, it is already transferring international calls via the undersea cable of Tamares Telecom Ltd. Golan Telecom shareholder, French mobile carrier Free Telecom SAS, which owns 30% of the company, is presumably providing the connection.
HOT Telecom does not yet include international calls in its customer plans, as Golan Telecom does. The carriers will presumably match each other, offering plans with international calls services.
