In hiking prices, Tara is following in the footsteps of the country's two largest dairy manufacturers Tnuva and Strauss.
Tara Dairy Ltd. is putting up prices that are not under government price control by an average of 4%. Tara is following in the footsteps of Israel's two largest dairy manufacturers Tnuva Food Industries Ltd. and Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS), which both announced last week that they are raising prices.
An official announcement from Tara said, "Following a rise in the prices of inputs and a rise in the price of raw milk, Tara will revise its prices upwards in the coming days by an average of 4%."
