The fashion chain will open 25 children's clothing outlets, 23 of them inside existing stores.

Israel fashion chain Castro Model Ltd. (TASE: CAST) today officially announced that it is entering the children's clothing market.

Castro CEO and owner Gabi Rotter said, "We plan entering this market in a very significant way from the outset. This is an engine of growth for us and very necessary. Our role is to bring good news to the children's fashion market and we want to be a market leader. Children's fashion is not a simple matter. We also understand that price is not enough and we will provide attractive prices and fantastic quality. It will be something different."

Castro said that it will invest NIS 18 million to launch 25 outlets of which 23 will be inside existing stores. The first children's store will open in August and each outlet will average 100 square meters.
