The Ministry of Transport and the Netivei Israel Transport Infrastructure Company announced this week that the new Massad-Ravid Interchange has been opened for traffic. The interchange is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion along the road and enable drivers to merge into Highway 65 safely and quickly. The interchange includes a 60 meter long and 12 meter wide bridge, placed 6 meters above Highway 65.The bridge was built using beam construction; each beam weighs about 80 tons and includes three supporting abutments.
