Allot Communications wins $15m tier-1 operator order

The order was due to Allot's integrated services and extreme scalability, supporting high density of 10GE ports.

Allot Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq:ALLT; TASE: ALLT) announced today that it has received an expansion order of $15 Million from a major tier-1 operator for the Allot Service Gateway Tera, Allot ServiceProtector and Allot ClearSee Data Source solutions. Allot received this order during the third quarter of 2014. Allot is a global supplier of service optimization and revenue generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband operators and cloud providers.

The Tier-1 operator selected Allot Service Gateway Tera due to its integrated services coupled with its extreme scalability, supporting high density of 10GE ports suitable for large scale networks. Leveraging Allot's intelligent traffic steering and load balancing capabilities, the solution will provide various value-added services. Among the services ordered are Allot ServiceProtector for safeguarding against distributed denial of service (DDoS) cyber-attacks and Allot ClearSee Data Source solution to provide rich data sources for different applications.
