The 56-room U Boutique Kinneret Hotel is one of five hotels in Fattal's new Unlimited chain.

Israel's Fattal Hotels chain is launching its new U hotels brand and is opening the new U Boutique Kinneret Hotel in Tiberias at an investment of NIS 50 million.

The new U brand will have four other hotels in addition to the 59-room U Boutique Kinneret Hotel. The four other U hotels are all in Eilat: Magic Palace, Sunrise Club, Coral Beach Club, and U Suites. U stands for Unlimited and what Fattal describes as "a maximum and unlimited leisure experience." The U brand joins Fattal's other hotel brands in Israel: Herods, Leonardo and NYX.

Spread over three acres, the U Boutique Kinneret Hotel, which opens today, was designed by architects Yehuda and Yoel Faigin while interior design was by artists Michael Azulai and Ari Shaltiel. The hotel has a swimming pool and private Sea of Galilee beach as well as a spa, fitness room and restaurant and is located opposite the Leonardo Hotel The U boutique's central building was previously used by Fattal as a spa and events hall.

Fattal CEO Reuven Elkes said, "We saw an opportunity for a lifestyle hotel close to the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), just 30 steps from the water, and we decided to set up a high quality hotel in Tiberias, where a new hotel hasn't opened for some time."
