Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) has been selected as the leader in digital banking in Israel by Global Finance Magazine.
Global Finance also wrote that Bank Hapoalim was the best value offer in direct banking and the best in SMS banking services in the Middle East.
Bank Hapoalim's selection was part of Global Finance's selection of the best banks in the world. The international economics magazine is a source of professional information in 192 countries, and rates banks and financial institutions around the world yearly in various categories. The magazine also selected Bank Hapoalim as the Internet champion of champions and the cellular champion of champions in the 2014 Webi competition.
The Global Finance editors made the selections in cooperation with an international panel of judges, after a comprehensive examination that included a series of consultations with senior officials in the world banking and financial systems. The criteria for the competition included an advanced platform in direct channels, adaptation of the channels to the customers' needs, adoption of new technologies, an increase in the number of customers and uses, the range of special services, etc.
