Housing Minister: This is the Zionist response to the Palestinian terror government.

After months of a construction freeze over the green line, the Ministry of Construction and Housing has published tenders for 1,500 new homes in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. The homes being marketed include 223 homes in Efrat, 484 homes in Beitar Illit, 38 homes in Adam, 76 homes in Ariel and 400 homes in Ramat Shlomo in Jerusalem.

Housing Minister Uri Ariel said after the tenders were published, "This step is the appropriate Zionist response to the Palestinian terror government. I believe this round of marketing is just the beginning."

The announcement of renewed construction in a several West Bank settlements comes after the official statement by US Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs John Kerry that the US will hold official contacts with the Palestinian unity Fatah-Hamas government.
