Israel’s premier international biomed conference and exhibition, IATI-Biomed, will celebrate its 15th anniversary from May 24 to May 26, 2016, at the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Visitors from across the world will explore the various innovations, and experience firsthand the entrepreneurial spirit which is a basis of Israel’s vibrant life science community. Previous successful conferences hosted over 6,000 industry senior executives, scientists, and engineers, including approximately 1,000 participants from over 45 countries and in excess of 4,500 one-on-one meetings.
IATI-Biomed co-chairperson and General Partner, Pitango Venture Capital Ruti Alon said, “This year we’re introducing a new and exciting format that will enhance interactions between young and mature companies and old and new friends in specific fields of interest with the goal of paving the way for new business collaborations."
This year the conference will be organized in a new format and will be divided into the following nine tracks: The Promise of Immuno-oncology; Robotics’ Role in Healthcare; Neurological Disorders; Personalized Diagnostics, Precision Medicine and Biomarkers; Cardiology, Listen to your Aching Heart; From Academia to Industry; Health IT; The New “Kids” on the Block: Microbiome and Gene Editing and Gene Therapy; Early Stage Challenges and Opportunities.
Dr. Benny Zeevi, IATI-Biomed Co-Chairperson and Managing General Partner, Tel Aviv Venture Partners, said, “Israel has established itself as a leading center of innovation in biomedical research and development.
