The company will install its Secure-M NG command and control system at the airport control center, which will control all the elements in the system and will also be interfaced with the airport operating and safety systems.

Under the agreement, C. Mer will also provide maintenance services, training, and airport services for 12 years.

C. Mer CEO Nir Lempert stated, "I welcome the continuation of our joint work with the Israel Airport Authority in construction of the systems for the new airport in Timna. The operational challenges currently facing airports worldwide are difficult, and require a broad perspective of all the aspects of an airport, including the airport information and management systems, low-tension systems, security and defense systems, data transmission, IoT, and a response to cyber attacks, while maintaining energy and electricity saving and environmental awareness. We are using our international experience in these areas and the broad scope of the group's solutions to provide an optimal response."
