This morning, Prime Minister canceled all the interviews he had planned to give for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), after interviews had been arranged with all Israel's leading newspapers and media outlets.
The Prime Minister's Office announced a short while ago that it was canceling all the interviews, explaining this by the prime minister's planned trip to London tomorrow and the preparations necessary in advance of it.
Any interviews that might take place will not be before the Jewish holiday season.
Yesterday, "Globes" reported that Netanyahu was due to have been interviewed by, among other people, Channel 10 diplomatic correspondent Raviv Drucker (together with Tamar Ish-Shalom), about six months after he refused to let Drucker interview him in the run-up to the last election.
A week before the election, in March 2015, Netanyahu sought to be interviewed by all the media. After Channel 10 announced that Drucker would interview Netanyahu on its behalf, then too with Ish-Shalom, Netanyahu refused to accept him as an interviewer and asked that he should be replaced. In response, Channel 10 cancelled the interview altogether. Netanyahu was interviewed on the other channels.
