A record 220,000 new vehicles have been delivered in Israel in the first eight months of 2016.
August is usually a quiet month in Israel's business sector but last month 27,490 new vehicles were delivered, up 30% from August 2012. In the first eight months of 2016, a record 220,000 vehicles have been delivered, up 17% from 188,633 vehicles over the corresponding period of last year, which was also a record.
Colombil (Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Mercedes) remains Israel's biggest vehicle importer with 47,127 deliveries in the first eight months of 2016, up 25% from last year.
