NICE Systems profit up 27% in Q3

Operating profit grew from $38.5 million to $55.7 million.

NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) today reported that its revenue had risen 7% to $221.5 million in the third quarter, while its net profit was up 27% to $0.75 per share.

The company's reports also showed that gross profit from $131.5 million in the third quarter of last year to $146.5 million in the third quarter of 2015, while its gross profit ratio was up from 63.4% in the third quarter of 2014 to 66.3% in the third quarter of this year.

Non-GAAP operating profit and operating profit ratio were up from $38.5 million and 18.7%, respectively, in the third quarter of last year to $55.7 million and 25.2%, respectively, in the third quarter of this year.

NICE Systems also published its forecast for the fourth quarter: $262-278 million in revenue and $0.97-1.08 in non-GAAP profit per share, and $916-932 million in revenue and $3.06-3.17 in non-GAAP profit per share for all of 2015.

NICE CEO Barak Eilam said, “It was another strong quarter for NICE resulting from all around solid execution. We reported very good year-over-year top and bottom line results in which revenues increased 10%, excluding the impact of foreign currency exchange rates, and earnings per share grew 27% supported by an operating margin that exceeded 25%. Backed by strong demand and a healthy pipeline, we are looking forward to a strong finish for the year.

He added, “The execution of our long term strategic initiatives continues to move forward as planned. We are now a more simplified, true enterprise software company focused on analytics, and our business is aligned across all dimensions, including technologies, customers, and markets.”
