The Rosh Ha'ayin Interchange was open to traffic this morning. The new interchange on Road 5 between Herzliya/North Tel Aviv and Ariel provides access to Rosh Ha'ayin's new neighborhood Givot Mizrachiot. The Ministry of Transport says that the interchange has been completed several months ahead of schedule. Construction of the interchange was a precondition for developing Rosh Ha'ayin's new eastern neighborhoods. The project also included adding lanes in each direction on Road 5 over a distance of 1.1 kilometers.
