Only 1.2% of Israelis would buy Nokia's Lumia, a TRI survey found.

If money were no object when buying a smartphone then more Israelis would prefer to buy a Samsung Galaxy S5 than any other handset according to a survey for "Globes" by TRI. 32% of Israelis would buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 followed by 26% who would prefer Apple's iPhone S5. 13.5% would be interested in LG's G3 and 6% in the HTC One M8. Only 1.2% would buy Nokia's Lumia 1200 and only 1% Sony's Experia. 20% of Israelis surveyed did not know which smartphone they would buy.

The question that arises from this survey is why is Eurocom Group not making more effort to promote Nokia phones (Nokia was acquired earlier this year by Microsoft for $7 billion)? Eurocom is currently investing major efforts to sell Chinese company ZTE's smartphones and its in-house Unidan phones, which it seems are more successful than its Nokia sales. Eurocom seems under no pressure to launch Microsoft's Windows phone.
