Stratasys inaugurates Kiryat Gat 3D printer plant

The plant, one of the world's most innovative, will have hundreds of employees.

3D printer company Stratasys Inc. (Nasdaq: SSYS) has inaugurated its new plant in Kiryat Gat this morning. The factory is described as the most advanced in the world for the manufacture of 3D printers.

The inauguration was attended by Minister of Finance Yair Lapid who complemented Stratasys's innovative technology and commitment to keeping industry and manufacturing in Israel.

Stratasys CEO David Reis said that the new plant would have hundreds of employees mainly from southern Israel and the inland coastal region.

Rehovot-based Stratasys is one of Israel's top-ten companies traded abroad and has a market cap of $6 billion.
