Three stabbed in Rishon Lezion terror attack

Two Israelis were seriously injured by a Palestinian man in Rishon Lezion and a third person was seriously injured in an attack in Netanya.

Three Israelis were stabbed in the center of Rishon Lezion on Monday afternoon in a terror attack which left two people seriously injured and a third person lightly injured. The terrorist, reportedly a 19 year-old Palestinian from Hebron, has been apprehended.

The attack took place near the Rishon Lezion bus station, on Herzl Street, the main road through the city. A 40-year old man and 80 year-old woman were seriously injured before the man was overcome by passersby and then arrested by police.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service arrived quickly on the scene and took the injured to Assaf Harofeh medical center.

In the evening a 71 year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist in Netanya. The terrorist was shot and seriously injured by police.
