Metis to delist from Frankfurt Exchange

Six Israeli companies will remain on the exchange when the delisting comes into effect.

The number of Israeli companies trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has been reduced by one. The board of Metis Capital Ltd. (TASE: MTSC; EIC) has decided to delist from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange "as soon as possible, subject to the regulations of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange." The company cited the cost of the listing for trading as the reason for delisting.

The delisting will come into effect 3-6 months from the decision. The company owns 50% of Subaru importer Japanauto Ltd. (TASE:JPNT.B1), half of Ameris Holdings Ltd. (TASE:AMRS.B1) (formerly owned by Arcadi Gaydamak), and a number of commercial real estate properties. Amnon Barzilay and Mony Harel own 47.7% of the company.

When Metis's delisting comes into effect, six Israeli companies will remain on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange: Advanced Vision Technology Ltd. (XETRA:VSJ), Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. (XETRA: OHT; AIM:OHT), OTI - On Track Innovations Ltd. (Nasdaq: OTIV; DAX: OT5), Valor Computerized Systems Ltd. (XETRA: VCR), Vizrt Ltd. (XETRA: VIZ; OBX:VIZ), and Wizcom Technologies Ltd. (XETRA: WZM).
