Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) has been hit with a series of nationwide glitches of its telephone network. The company confirmed the crash after complaints by customers, who could not receive or make calls.
50% of customers located on its NGN network cannot make or receive phone calls.
The glitches have also knocked out service to emergency numbers 100 and 101. An alternative emergency services number has been set up: 03-734-4001.
Bezeq said that the breakdown might cause partial disruptions in the receiving and making of calls. The company's Internet access network is operating normally. Bezeq added that it apologizes for any inconvenience and that it was acting to fix the problem as quickly as possible.
