Migdal in talks to acquire Natali home medical services

The talks are part of Migdal's strategy to expand its health insurance and services.

Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) today confirmed yesterday's story by "Globes" that it is in talks to acquire control of home care and nursing services company Natali Seculife Holdings Ltd. by acquiring the stake of Sky Fund. The deal is reportedly for several tens of million of shekels.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that the talks, led by Migdal CEO Yonel Cohen, are part of his strategy to expand the insurance company's health insurance and services to become a leading player in the field. Migdal is reportedly planning additional healthcare deals in the future.

Natali Seculife provides telemedicine and home care services for retirees. The company was created through the merger of EMS company Natali, founded in 1991, and Seculife, founded in 1988. Sky Fund organized the merger of the companies in 2007, and currently owns 60% of the company.
