MobileMax wins first Fujitsu order

The company sold fixed-mobile convergence software licenses for NIS 730,000.

MobileMax Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MBMX) has won its first order from Fujitsu Ltd. (TSE: 6702; Nasdaq: FJTSY) - NIS 730,000 for fixed-mobile convergence software licenses - for a Fujitsu customer Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (SingTel) MobileMax develops and licenses unified communication (UC) solutions and mobile least cost routing (LCR) technology to service providers, carriers and IP/PBX providers.

MobileMax's share price rose 16.1% on the news to NIS 0.127, giving a market cap of NIS 16 million.

MobileMax says that Fujitsu unit Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd. is one of the three largest IT services companies in the world, operating in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. It handles SingTel's equipment procurements. SingTel is one of Asia's largest telecommunications operators.

SingTel is a strategic customer for MobileMax, joining current operators such as Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) unit Verizon Business, India's Reliance Communications Ltd., (BSE: 532712) and Dutch owned VoIP services company iBasis Inc.
