Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:MLNX; TASE:MLNX) has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Mellanox Federal Systems, which will be responsible for business development with all federal government agencies and the federal integrator market. The company will operate as a separate entity to address demand from the federal government for high-performance connectivity solutions and to drive the development of new applications.
Mellanox works with many government agencies and organizations, including the Department of Energy, NASA, the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, the US Postal Service, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, National Institutes of Health, the Environmental Protection Agency, and various intelligence agencies. The company also works with systems integrators which serve the federal government, including Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC), Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT), General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD), The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA), CSC and Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN).
