The price of 95 octane gasoline will stay unchanged in January 2013, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources announced today. Gasoline prices fluctuated sharply from one month to the next during 2012, reaching an all-time high of NIS 8.25 per liter in September.
The price of self-service 95 octane gasoline will remain NIS 7.52 per liter (including VAT) in January, and the full-service fee will be NIS 0.18 per liter.
The price of gasoline is unchanged because although CIF La Vera trade prices for fuels in the Mediterranean basin rose by 3.3% during December, but the shekel strengthened 3.6% against the dollar.
