In April, "Globes" leapfrogged "The Marker," the financial new site of "Haaretz," to become Israel's most popular financial news website, according to data from the rankings committee of the Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL). "Globes" had 634,000 monthly surfers in April compared with 631,000 for "TheMarker." This consolidates "Globes" position as the country's leading financial new website. "Globes" already led "TheMarker" in terms of the number of daily visits and pageviews.

"Globes" overtook "TheMarker" even though both websites saw a rise in the number of surfers in April. However, "Globes" say a 6.4% rise in the number of surfers compared with only 5.5% for "The Marker"

Even though "Yediot Ahronot" financial news website "Calcalist" saw a 7.7% rise in the number of monthly surfers and 13.6% rise in the number of daily surfers, it was still in third place behind "Globes" and "TheMarker" in the financial new website rankings.
