Ben Gurion Airport Terminal 3 closed Friday for departures

Terminal 3 will be closed to departing passengers on June 7 and June 13 between noon and 8 pm.

Ben Gurion Airport's Terminal 3 will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 7, and on the following Friday, June 13, between noon and 8 pm. The closing will affect only departing passengers; arriving passengers will continue to use Terminal 3 as usual.

Ben Gurion Airport is undergoing a major operational change that requires work on infrastructure to connect and operate a new technological system for security checks. The change is designed to shorten and improve the process for departing passengers.

Passengers departing during the times that Terminal 3 is closed will depart from Terminal 1. After going through check-in for the flight, security check, and passport control, passengers will be transferred by special transportation, directly to the duty-free hall at Terminal 3, where they will board their flights. The airport requests passengers to obtain information about their flights from the airlines.

All domestic flights to and from Eilat during the hours that Terminal 3 is closed will be diverted to Tel Aviv's Dov Hoz Airport.
