Ellomay Capital dual lists on TASE

On the basis of the company's current market cap, it will be listed on the TASE MidCap 50 Index.

Ellomay Capital Ltd. (AMEX: ELLO) has dual listed on TASE, under the ticker "ELOM", with trading in the share beginning today. On the basis of the company's current market cap, it will be listed on the TASE MidCap 50 Index.

At the opening ceremony on the TASE, Ellomay chairman Shlomo Nehama said, "I do not share the general criticism of the TASE's condition. Moreover, I utterly reject the claims by anonymous parties seeking to delegitimate the Israel Securities Authority and those who lead it by dragging the TASE into the matter. This is a dangerous attempt to weaken the regulator that is responsible for one of the most sensitive instruments in the Israeli economy. I believe that the Israeli business sector in general shares this sentiment, and I am taking the opportunity to tell [Security Authorities chairman] Hauser - stick to your guns."

Ellomay invests in Israeli and foreign energy and infrastructures companies. It has invested in 13 photovoltaic power stations in Europe with an aggregate capacity of 25 megawatts. The power stations are all hooked up to national grids and generate revenue from the sale of electricity. The company also owns 7.5% of independent power producer Dorad Energy Ltd., which is building a power station in Ashkelon, and has an option to increase the stake to 9.375%.
