SaaS co Clarizen raises $12m

Hod Hasharon-based Clarizen will use the proceeds to launch new solutions for customers, expand its global business, sales, and marketing.

Software as a service (SaaS) project management solutions developer Clarizen Inc. has raised $12 million. Opus Capital Ventures led the round, and was joined Benchmark Capital, Carmel Ventures and DAG Ventures. The financing brings the amount of capital raised by Clarizen to $36 million since it was founded by CEO Avinoam Nowogrodski in 2005.

Hod Hasharon-based Clarizen will use the proceeds to launch new solutions for customers, expand its global business, sales, and marketing. The company said that its revenue has grown 400% since 2009.
