A special seminar at the “Globes” Israel Business Conference 2010, “PoLAND of Opportunities”, will discuss the current success stories and various investment opportunities in Poland for Israeli investors

The Polish economy has achieved the fastest growth of all European Union member states in recent years, and it serves as an example of a country that successfully made the transition from a centralized economy to a free market economy. Like Israel, the global economic crisis of the past two years was barely felt.
A special seminar at the "Globes" Israel Business Conference 2010, "PoLAND of Opportunities", will discuss the current success stories and various investment opportunities in Poland for Israeli investors.

The seminar, which will be moderated by Voice of Israel correspondent Arie Golan, will host former Polish Prime Minister Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, Warsaw Stock Exchange president Ludwik Sobolewski, Maktheshim Agan Industries unit Makhteshim Agan Poland general manager Michael Reiss, Super-Pharm president and CEO Lior Reitblatt, Polish, Vice Minister of Treasury Mikolaj Budzanowski, Egged Israel Transport Cooperative Society chairman Gideon Mizrahi, and BRE Bank head of corporate banking Przemysław Gdański.

The "Globes" Israel Business Conference 2010 is Israel’s premier annual business conference. This year’s conference will be held against the backdrop of a changing global economy and the new global order in the post-crisis era. The conference will host key Israeli and international figures from the finance, real estate, energy, infrastructures, telecommunications, and media industries, as well as academics and researchers.

They will discuss the most burning and riveting issues in Israeli society and the challenges facing the global economy. Topics will include Israel’s offshore gas discoveries and the issue of royalties, whether Israel’s real estate market is a bubble, Israel’s economic standing from global perspectives, Israel’s aerospace technology as a growth engine, and the struggle for global influence between the US and China.
